Summer Camp Instructor Position: Digital Arts, Technology
& STEM
Are you passionate about STEM?
Hendrix College, in conjunction with Black Rocket Productions, is
seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as a
Lead Instructor to help teach exciting classes based in Minecraft,
Roblox, video game design, and digital arts!
This is a perfect job for K12 certified classroom teachers with
summers off who want to teach children various types of new
technology. Lead Instructors are adults who are responsible for the
well-being and education of the students. A lead instructor may have
either a degree/experience in education or significant experience in
one of the content areas. They must have a strong understanding of
the course concepts being taught as well as any techniques and
software involved. Classroom management skills are preferred.
Upon completion of the Black Rocket training program, instructors
must demonstrate competency in the core concepts and software used.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, lead instructors are also
responsible for the supervision of staff, equipment management, and
enforcement of site policies. Training begins in spring 2026. This
is a seasonal position. Experience with technology preferred, but not
required. Training is provided.
Get paid to build your resume and have a ton of fun! Training is paid
and mostly online with some on site at Hendrix College. Each new hire
will attend an online training program to learn the curriculum and the
Black Rocket approach. Training begins in May 2026 (open now!).
The position is full day (8:30 am - 4:30 pm), Monday-Friday for the
weeks of July 6th, July 20th, July 27th, and August 3rd.
